    The Platinum Club is RSA’s most prestigious global awards program for employees. To ensure the annual awards evenings are equally prestigious in tone and execution, RSA looks to LOFT to provide creative and production leadership. Each year we select the venue for the awards show and produce a full day of activities, followed by a gala dinner. The evening is capped off by the announcement of the winners and the reveal of the secret 5-star trip destination. With an eye for detail and refined sensibilities, the LOFT team ensures over 50 employee finalists and executives receive 5-star treatment worthy of their RSA celebrity status. Bling-a-ding-ding!


    How do you keep a legacy blood pressure product with over 10+ years market presence fresh in the minds of sales representatives?
    By leveraging lots of fresh tactics, fresh energy and fresh faces. For Bayer’s Adalat XL sales team, we developed a character-based impression campaign that made it super easy for the brand managers to motivate and educate their reps across Canada. The campaign featured a variety of media, tools and channels, such as video, flash, texting, email, voicemail, print, a radio show, national and regional sales events. The campaign was so successful that they asked us to reinvigorate the campaign year over year, and to later spearhead the launch of the brand extension Adalat XL PLUS. Our plus? Consistent low blood pressure from start to finish. XL-ent!


    When it comes to the bond between people
    and their pets, no one is a more passionate supporter than the people at Nestlé Purina PetCare Canada. And we should know. For more than 8 years, LOFT has managed the creative and production for Nestlé Purina’s yearly All Employee Meeting. Over 250 employees attend the full day event that includes theme development, staging, video, live talent, live pets (on occasion!), multimedia design, teambuilding, awards and onsite execution. For all of us at LOFT, it’s a chance to embrace our animal instincts. Meow.


    For four consecutive years, LOFT designed, managed, and produced a series of multi-city Respiratory Consultancy Group meetings with leading physicians across Canada. The 20+ city events included invitation and registration management, staging, multimedia design, décor, video production, hospitality and logistics. Each year we kept things fresh, with value-added experiential tactics that helped improve engagement and dialogue. We’re only just now beginning to catch our breath.


    With only weeks to go before a back-to-back full-day All Employee Meeting and three-day national sales meeting, LOFT was asked by Canada’s leading diabetes pharmaceutical company to elevate their employee engagement and education. We said it couldn’t be done and hung up the phone. Just kidding. Having an almost unhealthy passion for a healthy challenge, we quickly grabbed the bull by the horns and helped smooth out the ride, orchestrating a seamless flow of thrilling entertainment experiences, business focused discussions and activities, and reliable event management and production support across all four days. The result? Lofty employee satisfaction survey scores across the board and a funky bull logo for our portfolio.


    When General Mills needed creative and logistical support for a variety of promotions at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, they brought in a ringer… LOFT. We donned our toques and mitts to design and produce daily public events promoting the General Mills CHEER postcard writing campaign, which included athlete appearances at the CHEER Wall during the Olympics in Vancouver. The result? Gold medal performances in the production of signage, exhibits, staging, live talent, athlete management, logistics, and onsite management during the entire 17 days of the Games.

    Trish Renna Zado

    A background in journalism combined with over 20 years in marketing and communication roles, gives Trish the edge to elevate your business objectives and turn them into spectacular results. Trish regularly consults with executives at leading companies, including Novo Nordisk, RSA, Bayer, IBM, Scotiabank, VISA International, Coldwell Banker, General Mills, and GlaxoSmithKline. She has lead and produced programs in every major Canadian city, where she has fostered relationships with many venues and suppliers. Trish’s greatest strength is the ability to quickly assess challenging situations and provide immediate creative solutions. But don’t tell her we said that, it’ll just go to her head.

    Kevin Ormsby

    Not to be outdone by his business partner, Kevin has more than 25 years experience in corporate communications and events. Kevin has managed product launches, tradeshows, sales meetings, award galas and everything in between for some of Canada’s leading organizations, including Nortel Networks, Bell Canada, IBM, Cadbury Adams, KPMG, GlaxoSmithKline and Nestlé Purina. Kevin is known for his strong creative execution and efficient management style, no matter how large or small the project. Kevin currently sits on the Board of the Community One Foundation which provides grants to organizations for projects that enhance the development of the LGBT+ communities in the Greater Toronto Area.


LOFT was founded in 2005 by Trish Renna Zado and Kevin Ormsby, both senior communications and events specialists with extensive experience working alongside top executives at leading global corporations. Strangely though, their golf games haven’t improved.


Our core team of dedicated business development, account and production leads bring depth, breadth and personality to every program we deliver. They’ve each been there, done that, and have the digital photos to prove it.
